Did I procrastinate and post this Mixtape Monday at the end of the day? Yes, yes I did but hey... I POSTED IT! So some new music for your ears... get it ready!

Idk why I decided to have this week be a boys club, but there you have it.

Song: Ghost by Tentendo

Australia's own, Tentendo is better known as the bass player for neo-soul artist, Billy Davis. He later had a wrist injury which led to him focusing on producing his own music. Personally, I'm OBSESSED with a good upbeat R&B-centric artist and after stumbling upon Tentendo on Spotify, I can confidently tell you that this won't be the last time you'll hear his name. Sounds like Goldlink with a mix of R.LUM.R and a little bit Majid Jordan. aka I'M OBSESSED!

Artist: Ace Hashimoto

Not sure if I've been sleeping under a rock for the last 10 years but artist, Ace Hashimoto is the most slept on artist I have stumbled upon in a LONG TIME! He is most known for lending his beats to big names like Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$ and Chance the Rapper but most notably, working hand in hand with SZA and helping to "build her sound". THAT LIST OF ARTISTS ALONE IS INSANE! Recently he changed his alias from BrandUN DeShay to Ace Hashimoto as a form of rebranding into a new solo artist instead of just producing.

His song, 4everything is the one that had me hooked! It has the beat of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory theme song (although I hate that movie), it's a sick beat with perfectly placed vocals cascading right on top. Needless to say, I'm a fan and you can thank me later once you hear his top tracks.

Song: When We Were Young by Lost Kings

Los Angeles based DJ duo Robert Abisi and Nick Shanholtz are the make up of Lost Kings. The two met on the east coast and made the move to California in pursuit of making it in the music industry. If you take a look at their recent singles, you can clearly see a notable list of artists that they are collaborating with; Tove Styrke, Loren Gray and Wiz Khalifa. The song, When We Were Young had me hooked with vocals from Norma Jean Martine is like the summer anthem that you always wanted. It's a vibe and I'm super into it.

Welp, there you have it. Another Mixtape Monday for your ears to enjoy. Stay tuned for next week :)

Until next time...

xoxo, Kas
